Details about Initial & Follow-up
Sessions
Initial Session (80 minutes)
Your initial session is aimed at assessing your current habits,
setting goals and giving you an initial hypnosis session for
quick results.
We will start out with a thorough assessment of your current
lifestyle that will take about 20 minutes. I will ask you questions
about your habits in a variety of areas: sleeping, eating, stress,
work, social life, drugs and alcohol. We will talk about your
goals for your sessions and set up a treatment plan. For the
next 20 minutes I will share some information with you relevant
to your goals.
Next, we will conduct your initial hypnosis session. This
session will be designed to help you see quick results between
this session and your next follow-up session. It will be geared
toward more superficial change that will provide immediate
results, but does not generally result in as long-lasting changes
as more in-depth hypnotherapy work (to be done in follow-up
sessions).

Follow-up Sessions (80 minutes)
Your follow-up sessions are the same length, but are geared
toward resolving unconscious blocks to change so that you can
experience permanent new healthy habits for long-lasting
results.
We will start by checking in about successes and challenges
over the last week. We will talk about what went well and talk
about how to maintain those changes. We will also assess
what didn't go so well and plan how to overcome those
obstacles in the future. I will share additional information that
would be helpful for you at this time. This will take about 20
minutes, but can take longer if you need more time.
During the remainder of the time, we will move into more
in-depth hypnotherapy, which will last about 60 minutes. Your
subconscious will take us back to times and events in your life
that lead to your current unhealthy habits. You will be able to
heal those wounds which will allow you to change habits that
have been set for a very long time. You will also bring parts of
your personality into harmony. Have you ever said, "Part of me
wants to exercise, but another part of me wants to sit on the
couch!", or some similar statement? Hypnotherapy can stop
self-sabotage by allowing parts of you to agree on new healthy
habits.
The number of follow-up sessions varies from individual to
individual and the complexity of change that you are looking to
make. For some it may take only 3 sessions, for others it may
take 12 or more sessions.
